What is Advocacy?

An advocate is someone who will listen to what you want, inform you of your rights and empower you to get your voice heard. They will ensure your wishes and feelings are expressed and acted upon to improve your situation.

You can find out more information about advocacy on the National Youth Advocacy Service (NYAS) website.
