NEXT KIDS CARE 2! MEETING TBC – SIGN UP BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS!

Fostering impacts the entire household, and the children of our foster carers and short-break carers play a crucial role in its success. They welcome vulnerable children into their homes, sharing their space, parents, toys, and friends to provide love, stability, and support.

Kids Care 2! is a participation group for the children of our foster carers. This forum is an opportunity for our young people to share their experiences and gain support from others living in fostering or short-break care households.

Many potential carers worry about the impact on their own children, as they sometimes face challenging behaviours resulting from trauma and neglect. Despite these challenges, the feedback from the sons and daughters of our carers is overwhelmingly positive— they enjoy being part of a fostering or short-break respite family.

This safe space will allow siblings to connect, share stories, and find guidance as they navigate the unique challenges of being part of a foster family. Together, we celebrate the joys, address the concerns, and build a community of understanding and support.
