Young people at risk of homelessness

At Slough Children First, our vision is for children and young people to be ‘Happy, Safe & Loved, Thriving’, and this includes making sure children and young people are housed under the most appropriate way to suit their needs.

If you are 16-17 and are homeless or at risk of being homeless, please don’t worry as we can help and support you by working with you to ensure you receive the right support and advice to understand your options and make the right decisions.

There are processes we need to follow to help you get the right support and ensure you have somewhere safe to stay.

We will do an assessment to see if you are a “Child in Need” (CiN) (this legal term covers young people too). If you are, a Social Worker will speak with you to discuss how we at Slough Children First can help you find a place to live.

Contact us

Whether you have a Social Worker or not, you can still get in contact with us.
